A quick post to get y'all up to date.
Thurs and Fri- work! Not much to say on that front.
Fri night- went to Lizzy's and caught up a bit. Was really good to see her. Then headed over to Tien and Jodi's and got drunk, basically although I wasn't too drunk when Chris rocked up... Left there around 5am!...Drove home and slept til 5pm or so.... (sat)...Stayed in on Sat night and just relaxed....started chatting to bruce and didn't get to sleep til bout 3am..slept til bout 12pm...went to parramatta westfield with Kylie (sister)...bought a new fone..

I have to update from Fri onwards...
Friday- had to go to tafe for the last day! woohoo!!! listened to a coupla presentations..*yawn* and had some verbal feedback of the class, teacher and fellow students...at 11am- it was decided that we'd go to the pub to do farewell drinks..we'd originally planned to go in the afternoon...but we had nothing to do so decided to go earlier! heh heh! I dropped my car at home and went with Carol..we had a couple of drinks, well..i had bout five or six... :P peeps bought me belated birthday drinks...played pokies a bit with Kelly... left around 2 30pm... rested a bit then left for the meeting..I very much doubt my alcohol level was 0. (P Platers in Australia have to maintain a 0 level of alcohol since recently- before it was 0.02)...meeting was ok.. one specific person annoyed me..the meeting was kinda..messy- going off and back on track....driving home, I thought...I'm not ready to go to bed yet... so..I msged Maz and asked if she wanted to do something..she didn't reply.. (gggrrr- apparently she didn't check her phone...wonder what she was doing?! :wink: :wink: )..I msged Kara and asked if she wanted to come over a night earlier... she wanted to so I went and picked her up..stopped and bought some alcohol on the way to mine...as well as FOOD!.. we just vegged out and chatted online, watched dvds....
Saturday- we were still awake when the clock struck 12 but...we slept in for ages.. got ready for the night ahead and maz came over when i was still in the shower! i felt so rude!! :P... went to toongabbie for the cricket presentation....only stayed a few hours then headed over to tien and jodi's... drank and drank...had some illegal substances too :)..danced a bit in the...*coughs* garage .... hahaha... there are other stories but for the privacy of some people- I will not be revealing :)
Sunday- Slept in til about 11...lazed around.....went to Kara's... got photos developed...a boring day really...but isn't that what sundays are for?
Monday- MY FIRST DAY OF MY NEW JOB!... I started a new job as a Childcare Worker. On my first day- the kids beheaded a poor dead bee then claimed it was hungry only to put grass in the jar, one kid fell over and cut open his lip... there were so many incidents! Went to Mum's tafe to help out with her students' assessments.
Tuesday- SECOND DAY!... Was similar to the first day! :) Not much happened..Got home, slept from 5 til 5 this morning....
Wednesday- well, I woke up at 5 this morning! :P I have work til 4 then goin' to Mum's tafe again to practice teaching... for after the holidays...
Thats it from me, my hands are freezing...ikts 5 45am! :|

Hello hello! Part Two is finally here...
It's written by both Kara and I.
Woohoo- I know you're as excited as we are.
So... We went to the Pavillion- Kat got wished happy birthday by THREE security guards and we were just standing around chatting til people got off their seats and we ran to sit down...
Kara: I didn't sit down right away- some people were still at the bar- we were chatting and buying drinks! *evil grin*
Kat: There were a lot of laughs and photos- Will post them later on in the post! We just chatted and drank... Tried a lot of different drinks. My new fave drink from bars is raspberry/vodka/lemonade...People, keep this in mind if u ever want to get me a drink- no party drugs thanks! :)
Kara: Vodka with Rasp is YUMMY!!! :) We talked, talked, talked, talked and talked allllll night....
Then we all went to Scruffy Murphys which had a nightclub downstairs...
Kat: Kym, Jodi, Tien, Kara and I all got in at the same time- I got an eyeful of the Pokie Room and I'd never played Pokies before so I was all like..."EEEK!!!!.." So we went in and played some..
Kara: Kat was all like "what does this button do?" "and this?" basically asking how to play!!!!
Kat: I lost- I always LOSE! I got a msg from a few people sayin "Where are ya?"..so we ventured back out...and there was a line for the nightclub so it didn't get so crowded...
Kara: We went down and I started dancing and havin' fun... after I deposited my jacket and bag on a seat of course, for others to look after :twisted: ...:)
Kat: I just started by sitting and chatting- I was pretty tipsy by then...and I just kept drinking....I started dancing a bit with Diane...more drinks :)...There were a lot of weird characters at the place...eeek!!!!....
Kara: A few guys tried to pick us up..which wasn't great :P....I wasn't really interested in hooking up with anyone....so.. :)
Kat: Omg- there was this woman that was tryin' to dirtydance with the police officers that came in..it was craaazzyyy- the police officers put up with her but it seemed that they got a lil shitty eventually...It was hilarious..there was also a person in a nun-get up!!!
Kara: a few of us got really drunk...adrian got kicked out of the club cause the bouncers thought he was drunk..the girls with them convinced the bouncers to let him back in....
Kat: yep, hanger-ons... :) After we finally got out- we had some kebabs..
Kara: not me!
Kat: Kara, I didn't say we as in everyone..just some of us.... we then went to the nightride bus stop..no bus for the next half a hour so we sat down shivering..with this dude full on staring at us!!! WEIRD!...
Got on the bus.....
There was a sleeping dude in front of us- the bus stopped suddenly and he fell off his seat and onto the floor- woke up in a daze..and whats even funnier..his stop was 1-2 mins away! BAHAHA! :P
Bus bus bus bus til Parra...tickets...
Kara: When we got off Parra- we were all like "where are we?!"...it'd parked just behind the station thingy..and we were totallyyyy disoriented..lol!
Kat: yeah- we got tickets and we had to wait 15 mins for a train because aparna took her time...goin' to the loo...
Kara: We went to the loo too on our platform and I kept my hands under the hand-dryer to keep 'em warm!
Kat: YEAH! When I tried, It wouldn't keep buzzing out air for me..it was nasty to me..nice to kara- bah!!!
We got on the train and got to Blacktown..waited ages for a taxi...finally got one and got home- it was misty and foggy..barely light yet..was a beautiful sight...
Got home around 6:35am..Got to sleep around 7am...

SUNDAY!
I continue this with Kara because Kara was with me from Saturday lunch til about 9pm Monday night...
We slept most of Sunday away- til about 4pm when I was rudely awoken by my damned mother! BLEH! She thopught it was time for me to waksies up...
Kara: I'd woken up 5 mins before her mum came in- i was planning to go back to sleep but...she spoiled it! :(
We just watched dvds...and relaxed til Kat said "u wanna go out?" I went all like "ok" so we ended up at the local club....
Kat: Talk about an eye-opener! There were only likle...four other young people!!! Cute if I may say so...
WEIRD PEOPLE!
Kara: *nods in agreeance* It was full of old geezers...while we were sitting and having a drink, an old huy with a beard around 50 tried to talk to us...but we were like "we're deaf"..
OG: (Old Guy) Hello girls
US: We're deaf
OG: That's ok.
US: *looks around us nervously*
OG: (still seated at our table)...*blabbers gibberish*
US: Your friend wants you.
OG's Friend: Come back here.
OG: *ignores*
US: Get up and sit over there
OG: *laughs and continues his gibberish*
Kat: GET UP AND MOVE!
Kara: She said get up and move
OG: *still laughing*
OG's Friend: Come back here!!!!
Kat: There was also another dude...that said 'NORTH ROCKS' to us like ten times..and we're like "we don't go there"
(north rocks is home to the institute of deaf and blind children)...
Gggggrrr and he was all like "can i sit with you"
Kat" "No..we're having a conversation"
Kara: She said no.
OG2: Can I say something? You two girls are very beautiful.
US: Errrm..
Kara: Thank you!! :)
Kat: *raises eyebrows*
We stayed there til 2am-ishly...
Got a taxi home...WE were so tipsy..we drank heaps including a tequila shot each...
Kara: The man at front was Kat's dad's friend..and he had to call a taxi for us..we made idle small talk...:)
Kat: Taxi arrived- we zoomed on to home... altho we wasted 5 bucks going around blacktown...cause couldnt work out what way I wanted to go..lol!!!
We continued drinking..and drinking..took a million webcam shots.. (will also include some)..:)
Slept til Monday morning..went to Parra westfield- printed some photos off Maz's diggie...Met Rach, came back to mine..she did her online thing with Len...
Not much happened, they didn't leave til 9pm though..gggrrr, I was TIRED!!!!!
Well, that was our weekend..it was a lot of fun- filled with fun things...

Tuesday- I worked- not much to say about that. I got surprised with a vanilla mudcake which was delicious to say the least!! :)
Wednesday (yesterday)..Slipped in the bathroom, landed on my right wrist...it was a bitch trying to drive... didn't stop hurting til bout 3pm in the afternoon and even then- there were tinges of pain..went to mum's tafe and practiced teaching the class..I'm taking over the class for two lessons in the holidays because Mum's goin' to Hobart for her teaching prac thing.. (four whole weeks!)...Went to the priem's after miller...only meant to be a 5 min visit cause mum had to tell kerry stuff bout driving but we ended up leaving there a hour later..was really good to have a chat with melina...
Today- woke up...stayed in bed..watched a movie called "the gift"..was weird but still good.. i was lying in bed...freshly showered but cold... had bella and bree lyiing with me...was much warmer....i love it when they sleep with me... came to work- went to the plaza for some lunch... uhhh...photocopied my hands...and my face, hahaha..(still at work)..I'm seriously pissed off with the two men I'm working with...ARGH!!!
I get to leave early though- SCORE!!! I'm goin' to Parra to meet Maz, Rach and Kara to get tickets for the Deaflympics... hopefully there's some left for us...

I've written a bit- but will be continuing later..
Ok! I thought I’d start writing about this in Word. I don’t want to write about it ALL at once so I thought I’d space it out because at the moment I have the worst headache. My head is throbbing but I’ve had the most awesome weekend. I have work tomorrow morning at 8am and I so don’t want to go but I gotta make a living, I guess.
I’ll start with.. Friday night. The much-dreaded family dinner… It actually turned out to be good, there were no snide remarks or whatever. We went to this chinese restaurant which was a little :S for me because I hate hate asian meat, but it was ok- I ate rice, noodles and they specially got me vegetarian spring rolls. It ended up being delicious- I had one too many drinks, methinks…My nana was there! The manager of the place gave me a CAKE! It was so embarrassing- my fam, him and a waiter were all singing happy birthday to me, in the middle of the restaurant…eeek- cake was nice though…MUDCAKE! There isn’t much to say about Friday night- what there was- has been said so..moving on!! :o)
Saturday morning- MY BIRTHDAY! I had to rise early to go to work… Work was fun, very relaxed… I got to leave ten minutes early, YAY ME! :o) I went to pick up Kara and we went to Blacktown Westpoint and had lunch with Maz cause she wanted to give me my present so I didn’t have to carry it around on Saturday night.
After hangin’ for a bit at Westpoint- Kara and I went back to my place and just chatted online- mucked around with the webcam. Before we knew it, it was soon time to go so…getting ready was pretty frantic.. Kara as usual…took FOREVER to do her makeup. She looked pretty snazzy though! :o)
We got Mum to take us to the local train station and we had to wait 25 minutes for the next train, damn them stupid trains. We finally arrived and I got a hell of a scare – Rach jumped out at me. Kara and I weren’t expecting her to come cause she’d just gotten out of hospital that morning. But it was a pleasant surprise!! We went up and we waited forever for a table- people started arriving..Ended up being ten of us for dinner although we had temporary guests for a bit..Toby and Lauren came for a bit to say hi…
I’ll have to say that my first judgements of Toby (stories from Lauren) weren’t good but after I met him, I’ll have to say that he’s very nice and my initial impressions flew out of the window. Lauren and Toby could not keep their hands off each other which was kinda funny.
One thing- Lauren doesn’t sign..nor does Toby…so when I told everyone to introduce themselves- they signed their name and said ‘how are ya?!” and I had to go all “psssst- she doesn’t sign…” It was hilarious although I’m not sure how Lauren felt- hahahahahah!!!
Food wasn’t too bad- although I wouldn’t go again unless it was a last resort or one of those moments where you go “Oh, lets just go there”.
We spent forever outside the star bar and grill just chatting, more people arrived and we finally decided to go to the Pavillion… ..

I'm baaack, 22 hours or so later!!!
Wednesday night- Kara and I went to see Rach in hospital. For those that are wondering why shes in hosp- she got her wisdom tooth removed cause her jaw was too small to accomodate it- they had to cut down on the gum to remove it. That was on Friday.. her cheek swelled up really bad...on Tues- she ended up in hosp...apparently it was infected.. and they had to drain the pus! Anyway, Kara and I went to see her- stayed there for about three hours then we left and had dinner then i dropped her home..I was exhausted.. fell asleep...
Thursday- Went and saw Rach again in the morning and then went to work... refer to previous post!! :P
Today- I just went to tafe to listen to a few presentations and I got totally embarrassed cause Carol organised a cake and everyone was singing happy birthday to me.... EMBARRASSING!!!
Cake was yum!!! Not much else happened today- I'm just relaxing for a bit- gonna watch a dvd or something befre dinner tonight with the family!! :shock:
Tomorrow's my BIRTHDAY!!!! i have to work in the morning, then see Maz then get Kara and get ready for a night out!! :)

Thought i'd drop in for a super-fast post.
I'm at work and I don't have too much time to spare so...will quickly update you guys! If I don't finish- don't worry- I will update ASAPly!
Last time I wrote was.. Sunday, four days ago.
Monday- I just worked all day, nothing exciting. I should have been at tafe but I had my assessment last week so I didn't need to go on Monday. Morale was a little low..
Tuesday- I had a meeting at TAFE instead of work cause I worked on Monday... In the morning, i just grammar-checked mum's essays and went online and chatted til I had to go to the meeting- a fair bit of time was spent waiting for Carol til I decided to go home and get my fone cause I forgot it. Discovered that she was stuck at her other work... so thought 'fuck it' I'll not go...Went to north rocks westfield to kill time before i had to pick up danni for the seminar we were going to at the sydney cochlear implant centre..
Holdon- have to do something- be right back...*posts*
Baaaaaaacccckkkk!!! I just passed my last test!!!
International Computers Drivers Licence. I'm a support teacher for the class and I thought I'd do the tests too and get my own and I've just passed alllll the tests!! YAY!!!!
Oh well, back to Tues night...
Picked up Danni then Maz and went to Gladesville for the seminar. It was Cochlear Implants and Sign Language. It was kinda good but kinda boring. I might go in detail another time but my head is pounding..I fell asleep about a hour ago at work- really embarrassed about that...cause I'm like...staff!
Umm, the event!!!! That went really well, better than I had imagined/or dreamt :P... The volunteers worked really well, the food was cooked in time, the music was apparently good, we had a bunch of dancers that did really well and were popular with the students, we had fairy floss and popcorn which pretty much ran out..., we had heaps of drinks, we had a graffiti artist who showed the students some 'moves', we had a police officer, an ambo with his ambulance (he was v.v popular with the girls if u get what i mean?! ;)) We also had makeup artist students from napoleon however u spell it, that was popular with the girls...and two of the dudes... 2 of the dudes decided to get makeovers...It was hilarious if not scary! :P All in all, a great day...
I had to thank everyone at the end and I forgot some peoples names, luckily there were people on the stage that spoke up and said "oh, this and this person too!"
*sighs*
I'll write about Wednesday night and today when I get home... Maria asked me to do 'something else' :P

Last night was fun! (It was good seeing/spending some time with some people). I was disappointed though that Bec didn't turn up. She im'ed me this morning and apologised and said that she wasn't in the best mood. I told her to save her apologies for Kim. Bec proceeded to complain that Kim didn't reply to her SMS last night. Well, did you even stop to think that she was trying to enjoy her 21st? But anyway- was awesome just drinking and attempting to dance..lol! Food was delish!
There isn't much to say about it- just that it was fun. I ended up a little tipsy :P
Today- I've been totally lazy. FINISHED "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown which was awesome!!!
Would definetely recommend it altho my head was reeling from all the facts... Amazing stuffs!!! :|
What's next on the agenda? I have a variety of books to choose from although I'm leaning towards the book I got recently altho lent to Rach but I've got it back..but we'll see, we'll see....
Tonight- I'm gonna be working on an assignment thats due by email tomorrow! Eugh- but it's ok.. It's all up in here.. *motions to head* I just gotta find the words!!! :)
ONLY TWO AND HALF MORE DAYS TIL THE EVENT!!! It's so scary! The idea...of it being so closeby! AUGH!

OMG!!!!
I did my presentation this morning and I did shockingly but I still passed!! I don't know my mark but when I talked to the teacher bout it..
Teacher: How did you feel about your presentation?
Me: I felt like I didn't do so well, not the best I could- in one word..CRAP!
Teacher: Oh pffft!
Me: It's true! Did I at least pass?
Teacher: Oh God, yes!
So I'm thinking it's looking good? :P
The exam was boring, full stop!
Coles is being totally awesome- donated 300 Coke cans to our event..as well as onion, sauce, serviettes, lollipops, chips and some other stuff.. Brendan is a legend!!! :) Carol and I picked up the coke today- 60 might have went missing :wink: :wink: :wink: if y'kno what I mean... :P
But everything else is going swimmingly!!!
Tonight is a quiet night in- I'm 'grammar-checking' my mum's uni assignment before she posts it on Monday. (She's an external student). Tomorrow- I've got work then shopping with Mummy then a 21st tomorrow night :D Sunday should be a quiet one as well...
Know what's funny? I'm sitting here- typing this post with my bag still on... WEIRD! I got home half a hour ago and I still have my bag on!!! :D:D:D Weird but normal :)

and I'm awake and no it's not an all-nighter- its worse. I woke up this morning- about half a hour ago!!! Why did I wake up at 5am, you ask?! Fucked if I know. Actually I do know...I wanted to wash all my clothes and prep for my exam this afternoon...
Dad woke me up at 5am and I told him that my alarm was on for 5:30 and to go away and turn the light off. (Alarm was on for 6 but wasn't gonna tell him that, lol).. Then while snoozing, I felt a bang and I leaped out of bed and caught Hayley going through my stuff... Yes, at 5:15AM!!!!! She probably thought I was dead to the world like I usually am but oh no missy- I caught ya! :|
She's cranky at the moment and so am I!!! My stuff is MINE- not hers and what right does she think she has to come in my room and go thru my stuff while I'm sleeping.. I'm just lucky that she dropped something and I woke up!!!!!
Makes me wonder how often she does it! :roll: :?
Anyway- yesterday- I had work and went shopping with Rach. We finished buying Kim's present. I also bought MY feather boa from Lincraft. It's royal blue and it's feathery!!! :D :D
Not much has happened apart from that. Today is a sucky sucky day. I have to do an exam this afternoon and quite possibly a presentation today- I'm not sure. The teacher did the names when I wasn't in the room and Nobody remembers what day I'm on.. Today or next week...so I'm just gonna bring everything in case..
On ther bright side- there's a party tomorrow night!! :) For Kim's 21st but then again the coming Monday- I have work. Bah!

I haven't posted much for a while. I thought I'd bash off a quick post to let you all know that I'm indeed still alive-just busy with my life at the mo...I go on holidays soon though so I'll have a little more time to write.
I haven't been doing much lately, just been working, going to tafe and seeing a couple of people. Went to Steve's house to do some tafe stuff today, had lunch there. It was really weird cause ...Josh, Sarah, Steve, Carol, Olivia (steve's daughter) and I were all seated around the dining table- eating pasta with drinks in front of us- it was like we were eating as a family. Was kinda weird!! :)
A lot for the project has been done...
Dave "went to work" and came back as we were finishing up. I don't know if he actually did or not but I'm getting sick of him not really doing anything but it's only one or two weeks to go.
The Drug and Alcohol event is next Wednesday and I'm sooo nervous about it. We've got police, ambos, food, a graffiti artist as well as other stuff...showbags too...I just hpe the students we've been working with enjoy themselves... :) We've spent so many/much hours/energy on this- I just hope it pays off!!! Rach, you needa let me kno if you're comin? :)
Tomorrow- I hav work in the afternoon and a meeting.. I've got to buy a feather boa tomorrow.. *makes mental note* My birthday's next Saturday- woohoo! Not this coming Saturday but the next. I'm gonna be 18!!!
Am goin' out to the city with feather boas and tiaras. Having dinner and then doing whatever we feel like.
