I hurt: when I'm klutzy and fall over.
I fear: losing my friends
I hope: Kara's party will go okay.
I hear: nothing...apart from a few annoying noises like dogs barking
I crave: contentment
I regret: being stupid in my younger years although if I wasn't- I wouldn't be the person I am today- it's a 50-50 thing.
I cry: far too easily
I care: about friends, family and my dogs.
I always: talk too much
I long to: travel
I drive: everywhere
I sing: when I feel like it

I search: for meaning

The last time I updated, was two and half days before the wedding. That was a total of... uhhh.. *counts* seven days. So I haven't updated for a week. Not too bad, not too bad at all . :)
What's happened since then?
Friday night... Rach, Len, Josh, Caffy and I went to a local bar.. One World Sport and just relaxed, goofed around and took wayyyy too many photos...I don't really remember a lot about that night although I remember laughing hysterically at something or...hmm..I was apparently "drunk on water". Caffy told us about people getting psychologically drunk which was way weird to think about..although have seen similar things happen. On the way back to the car from the bar- we played Tag..and climbed on the play equipment. Caffy slipped and banged her knee really bad. (to this day- she still has a huge bruise. Yesterday, I made the mistake of tapping her on that knee..She swore at me :().. We also screamed our heads off while driving through Church St, which was fun. A lot of people were dining and we got all their attention, yay!
Saturday...saturday...I don't remember a lot of what I did.. I do remember going home around 2 or something though...went to see Kara and ask her to come to dinner with us...I hung out at 92 for a couple of hours- watched a dvd..then took her to my house where I got ready for dinner. Yatika, Hinal, Caffy, Ammy, Kara, Rach and I went to Prosperos, an italian place on Church St for dinner. Now, that was a delicious dinner. We didn't wanna stay out too late seeing that Rach had a huge day the next day! :P... We also went to Cold Rock, the best icecream place in town. Everyone got some icecream and all I gotta say is YUM...
Sunday...the big day!...I arrived at Rach's around 2pm or so..saw her sitting in the lounge room, all ready. She looked so beautitul (will be putting a photo up of her sitting...:D)...It just became so real and in the car on the way to church...I cried a little and I got teased :P... "Wedding hasn't even started!"... Arrived really early..talked to Len and watched the photographer click away...That photographer was heaps evil, I tells ya! ...fast forwarding.. ceremony began...and so did my tears!!! :).. David, Kara's dad did the service..and it was really not what I expected..I didn't expect it to be all story-like.. He told the story of them meeting and etc etc.. I got mentioned!!!! :D and he said for the single guys looking for someone special, to talk to me..haha. The vows were so cute.. Len's vows were funny. He tried saying it but was crying too much.. and apparently heard me crying so.. in his vows he said 'Kat, stop'.. So..woohoo, go me..I got mentioned TWICE!...only one was planned though.. :P.. We were talking about it the other day, we're fairly sure that it'll be a long-time running joke.. "Kat, stop!" ...Hahaha!... It was a beautiful wedding..:).. The reception was held at a really nice place...I faced the bridal table a lot..heh, our table was next to it and I moved my chair so I could chat...I tried stealing Josh's chair but when he came back- he made me get of...Hmm, :(... After the wedding, Caffy and Ammy came back to my house..we had a couple drinks and just chatted...both slept over
Monday..uh..damn, I'm bad at this remembering thing...Oh yeah, we went back to Rach's...Ammy packed and I took her somewhere local to meet a friend to drive up to Byron Bay.. Went back to Rach's..chilled..Caffy slept...Cherrie and I watched a movie together....Len and Rach got back from their hotel...looking very...errm, tired but happy :P.. Josh, Caffy, Rach, Len and I went for a drive..and uh, did something illegal then went to McDonalds where Len asked for a McPizza.. (which they don't have by the way).. I was laughing so much that I couldn't look at the service person....Dropped them off- headed on home.. It was on this day that I had to say bye to the lovely Ellis family....MY adopted family. (At the wedding- it was confirmed that cause Len's my brother...Josh and Cherrie were also my siblings and JoAnn..my mother..)...YAY- I have more family!
Tuesday- had work. Went to Rach's..hung out for a bit.. had dinner with Rach's parents, Caffy and Len. Rach got home from work. We watched some tv, I headed on home.
It sounds as like I spend most of my life at 27 Prince St, does it not?! :)
Wednesday...that was yesterday.....uhh, went shopping with Caffy.. was terrible weather..just terrible..Caffy and I were oblivious to the storm outside.. For this part- I will extract something I wrote in an email to someone... "At the moment, Sydney weather is horrible. Actually, I like this sort of weather, just not driving in it. All stormy...the shops I was at with Caffy...blacked out and all the shops closed early. It was quite funny actually cause we were sitting on the lounge in the shops- eating icecream and we're wondering what's going on because some people were running and the lights were going all funny. We decided to disregard it and keep on eating our icecream and then we went to Kmart (the only shop open apart from the supermarket) and after..we went outside only to find that it was all messed up! Traffic lights were blacked out, trees were blocking the road and the traffic was horrible. It's normally a 15 minute drive from Rach's to my house but it took me a hour."
Hmmm, yup. Last night....Rach, Len, Caffy, Kara, Jodi, Tien and I all chilled at KJT's house...watched a couple of movies...chatted, ate pizza....RLC left..and we went online and did Kara's 21st invitation.. I didn't get to bed til 7am...woke up around 12 30ish.....watched a movie then..showered and picked up my sister from school...and here I am, I guess...
Next post will be chock-full of photos, I promise. I just need to fix up some stuff before I can post them.
